Clubs And Programs

Clubs at Valley View Elementary

Valley View Voices

Valley View Voices is our school choir composed of 4th and 5th graders. We meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00am-8:45am from September-June. The choir receives several performance opportunities such as our Veterans Day assembly, Winter Concert, and a Farmer's Market performance, to name a few. We are also taking a field trip to the CWU music building for a clinic/exchange with the university choirs there. We have so much fun singing songs of many genres and it is a great opportunity to bond and create long-lasting friendships!

Girls who Code Club

Girls Who Code is a national program which is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. It is led by Tiffany Price, the technology teacher at EHS.  Everyone is welcome, as long as they "support girls who code!"  The club meets on Tuesdays after school at Morgan and Valley View.

Leadership Club

Fifth graders at Valley View can join Leadership Club and help make our school great! Leadership Club members help with the Unified P.E. program, in Kindergarten and First grade classrooms, delivering notes and helping the front office and much more. It is a great opportunity for kids to be leaders at Valley View! We meet during school hours, and all activities take place during school hours.

Robotics Club

Fourth and Fifth grade students can join Robotics Club. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable S.T.E.M. knowledge building, adapting and coding robots. Students work in teams of 2 or 3 to build and customize their robot to take on different challenges. We also work on the basics of coding as well. Fifth grade meets on Mondays and Fourth grade meets on Thursdays. This is an after school club that meets from 3:30-4:45.

Safety Patrol

Fifth grade students can sign up to be members of Safety Patrol. This group of students is trained to help students, parents and staff navigate the busy crosswalks at Valley View during morning drop off and afternoon pick up.
